Questions? Answers.
Do I need new phones or hardware?
No. OfficePing runs in any modern browser, so you can make and take calls from a laptop with a headset. If you prefer desk phones, OfficePing works with standard SIP desk phones.
Can I keep my existing phone numbers?
Yes. We help you port your existing local and toll-free numbers to OfficePing, and you can add new numbers at any time.
Is OfficePing only for healthcare?
Not at all. OfficePing serves businesses in every industry: legal, real estate, retail, hospitality, education, field services, nonprofits, government and more. Any team that talks to customers can use it.
How does emergency calling (E911) work?
Each inbound number carries a registered address, and you set an emergency number for your organization. Remote or branch staff can have per-extension settings, so emergency services get the right location.
Can I control who listens to call recordings?
Yes. Admins see everything. They can also give individual users access to call statistics, call records or recordings, separately, and limit each to selected queues or agents.
Does OfficePing AI respect our access permissions?
Yes. AI features follow the same rules as the rest of OfficePing. Questions about call data only use the queues, agents and records each person is allowed to see, transcripts follow your recording settings, and thread summaries only cover conversations you're part of.
What happens if we need to close unexpectedly?
A supervisor can flip any schedule to "Close now" or "Emergency" with one click and choose what callers hear, such as a weather-closure announcement.
